May 3 - Check In
I have lost 50 lbs so far!
This pictures shows how much of a load that is.

I haven't posted for a while, because I have been really sick. I haven't been to Mexico or been around anyone who has, but this was a doozy of a flu! I haven't been able to hardly get out of bed, let alone exercise.
I realize now I have been unrealistic in my weight loss goal. I thought I could lose 80-90 lbs in 12 weeks. I needed to be a little more liberal with my timing. I have lost 50 lbs in 12 weeks.
When I think about that, it is amazing------50 lbs. is like a sack of wheat. It is 1/6th of what my body weight was.
My energy is high and the pressure on my knee's is so much lower.
I am feeling better and ready to get back to losing weight. It is spring time in Idaho - I can get back on my bike and my diet and let the poounds continue to fall off.

April 3 - More Pounds Lost

March 28 - 250 lbs.

I continue to get closer to my goal. Yesterday I weighed myself and I am at 250 lbs. I am so grateful for this.
I feel so much better. I am sleeping better. I can bend over easier! My knees are hurting less. My shirts are getting looser and looser. My wife keeps telling me I need to wear smaller shirts because my shirts look like tents tucked in. I don't want to get anything new until I am finished. It doesn't make sense to get things that are going to be too big in another month or so.
I am quite excited to get out in the yard and work as soon as it warms up a bit. It will be so much more pleasant to do this than it has for a long time.
45 lbs. down - 35 lbs. to go!

March 20, 2009 - My Scale Was Wrong

I had a life insurance health exam and found out the scale I have been using was light by 10 lbs. At first that was depressing, but the next second I realized that was even a better reason why I needed to lose weight and grateful that I am doing this. I started this 295 lbs. not 285 lbs. Which means my weight now is 255 lbs. which puts me at my 1/2 point.
I want to tell the everyone who is overweight about this!

I started riding my bike again now that the snow has melted.

March 19 - 40 lbs.Lost So Far
This has been an interesting learning process. This product was introduced in early Janaury and I started on it as soon as I received the product which was January 22. March 12 - 17 Inches Gone!
Today is measuring day -My upper chest is the same measurement as when I started.
I have lost 4 inches around my lower chest, which is where my belly fat started.
I have lost 6 inches around my tummy.
I have lost 7 inches around my lower tummy and hips.
TOTAL 17 inches!!! No wonder my clothes are getting too big.
I feel empowered and confident that I am making it to my goal.
If you are REALLY ready to lose weight and are serious about actually doing it. If you are ready to pinky promise to not self sabatoge with excuses and victim mentality, this truly will help you. March 6, 2009 - 250 lb's - 35 lbs Lost - 35 lbs. To Go!!!

It seems pounds are a little harder to lose. I don't know if I have just hit a plateau as you do sometimes or whether I have lost the "easy" fat and now I am working on the "hard" fat. I am still confident that I am going to reach my goal. I am shooting for May 1st.
I can't remember the last time I was at 250 lbs. It has been 15 or 20 years and it feels awesome!

Here is another secret to my weight loss....if you want to be motivated to do something, declare it in front of 1000's of people. I am motivated to lose weight because you are all watching me. You can do the same by stating your intentions to family, friends and co-workers. They will be watching you and cheering for your success. I know you can do it especially if you let TAIslim help.

February 26 - 253 lbs. - 32 lbs lost - 38 lbs. to go!

I am almost 1/2 way to my goal. At the rate I am presently losing weight, I should reach my goal weight of 215 lbs. by about April 15th to May 1st. Since I have enough deadlines with taxes, I am using May 1st as my target date. to reach my goal weight.
There are so many people struggling with health issues and with financial problems. Maybe we can help.

Feb 22, 2009 - 257 lbs.- 28 POUNDS So Far - WOO HOO!!!!!
After a week in sort of sunny St. George and some very nice time with family and loved ones. I tried to watch my diet but I did indulge in pizza and goodies occasionally, I am down 3 lbs.
I feel great! I am confident I am going to make my goal weight of 215 lbs. After 5 weeks of experience with this, all I can say is if you are having weight issues, or someone you know is having weight issues and you want to lose weight....what are you "weighting" for?

Febuary 13, 2009 - 4 Weeks - 260 lbs.
I am down a total of 25 lbs. That is 2 lbs. down from the last weigh in. I am chagrined and a little disappointed. This past week has been a stressful one for me and my family. We have had several friends pass away and our son had emergency surgery. I haven't been as careful in my diet and exercise. When I return from a much needed vacation this week I will be down more dramatically I am sure and will take some pictures to post.

I am Mitchell's wife and I wanted to write a post and let you know what I have seen in him over the past 3 1/2 weeks in comparison to other weight loss journeys he has been on.Mitch is very self disciplined. When he decides he wants to lose weight he does it with total commitment. He has been on more diets than I can remember. He has starved and exercised and was lucky to drop a couple pounds a week. After several months of this in the past, he would get discouraged and finally give up.
He had a heart attack several years ago and has tried to drop weight since then. He had lost from 305 lbs to 285 lbs and it has taken him 3 years to do that. When he started 3 1/2 weeks ago he was at 285 lbs. Last week when he weighed himself he was down about 25 lbs. It took him 3 years to lose 20 lbs. and 3 weeks to loose 25 lbs.
He is pleasant to be with, he has more energy, his knees aren't hurting as much and he has new zest for life. He is exercising because he feels so much better and has the energy to do it. His clothes are getting to big for him.
His goal is to get down to about 210 lbs. so he has another 50 lbs or so to go. When he does this, his doctor told him he would be able to get rid of some or all of his medications. His apt. with his heart doctor is in May. I am anxious for that appointment, because all of his weight should be off by then. Of course we will report!
I know how personal weight gain is and how it affects one's self value. It is a hard thing for anyone who goes through it. I am so excited for him as I watch this happening to him.
WOO HOO Mitchell! I am his biggest cheerleader!

I just had to weigh myself today - I have lost 20 lbs. total.
I could be down more but we had a family party Saturday night and yesterday was the Super Bowl, so I ate some goodies.
I am starting a more organized exercise routine today.
The pounds and inches should start coming off faster.
Because I am down 20 lb.s I actually want to exercise, before it was really a struggle to do it, so the motivation hasn't been there. See you on Thursday, my 3 week check in.

I weighed myself this morning and I weigh 275 lbs.! Since I started I have lost 10 lbs.
Tomorrow is my one week day. I will weigh again in the morning. My shirt and pants aren't so tight. I was thinking I was going to need to go to a bigger size. This is great!

Thursday - January 15 - Today Is The Day! - Weigh In 285 lbs.
(Note - I was going to start this Tuesday but our supplies didn't make it until Thursday - so that when I began.)

Today is the day it all begins. Could this be the beginning of the end of the weight loss battle I have waged for so long?
We measured and weighed last night, (Monday January 12, 2009). We took pix Sunday. I am anxious for next week to see where I am and how I have done. I am a little embarrased to post those statistics, but I will next week.
Everyone else that has used this is losing weight. I hope it works for me too. People who have a lot to lose seem to lose about 10 lbs a week for the first several weeks. Then it slows down a bit as they have less and less weight to lose. People who have just 10 lbs or so to lose are losing about 3 lbs a week.
